You’d never guess by looking at these pages, but I’ve been shooting more
color film lately.

You might be the only person I know to take a camera with them on laundry day.

Nice. What film was this shot on?
Terran ()
It’s a slippery slope! Next you’ll be talking about how annoying it is to
print color, and then you’ll have a Canon (2-3i)D 42,000,000 pixel digibody
with a 4-600 digitally feedback compensated anti-vibration zoom lens, which
only opens to f/9.3, but that’s OK because the sensor has great low-light
performance and the lens VR is almost as good as an $8 tripod.
Actually, given that beautiful orange rainbow, I wish this had been
Kodachrome.
Say, when can I come by and see all your stuff that doesn’t make it to the
web?
Scott ()
Adrian: Thanks! I was playing with the Mamiya RB67 (a.k.a. the beast) again.
The film was Fuji Reala 100. For C-41 I usually buy fancier film (Fuji Pro)
but as I had intended to shoot these rolls with my Holga, perfect color was a
low priority. Besides, color film always looks better in medium format!
I want to try the new Kodak Ektar 100.
Terran: Yeah, aren’t black and orange the coolest new rainbow colors? I’m
saving my money for the first gigapixel digital camera with a 180 degree
fisheye lens. Just push the button and crop out the picture you meant to take
later, from the cool comfort of your computer terminal.
Don’t worry about my other pictures. They’re all crap.

NoTHING done, said, or contemplated in the Scottosphere is crap.
One may not LIKE it, may not wish to HEAR it, much less THINK ABOUT it, but it
is not crap because it is all stimulative of questioning one’s own
presumptions.
Let’s not read or hear any more of that crap out of you!

I would expect Atari 2600 cartridges to pop out of those- or perhaps soap
boxes detailed with paintings of their contents with an intricacy inversely
proportional to the actual innards.
Hey Scott shoot me line if you get a chance! I need some supreme guidance from
EECS land..
